Razdi Warmblood Stud, based in the Northern Cape – near the town Kathu, is famous for its prestige sport horse breeding program and progeny. The Stud farm is a family run institution in partnership with Liana van Dyk. It is managed with immaculate attention to detail and care of all the equine members of their family.
The Jacobs and Van Dyk families are competitvie riders themselves. With imported Warmblood stallions and top sport broodmares it is not surprising that they represent the Free State and Northern Cape Provinces for both Dressage and Eventing. Phillip Jacobs also won the highest level for Juniors in the SANEF dressage competition for 2007, 2008 & 2009. Phillip on his horse Razdi's Crack On came second in both the SA Individuel Junior Championships 2008 and the SA Freestyle Junior Championships 2008. Jaques Jacobs riding Rubin came third in the SA Freestyle Junior Championships 2008. Jaques came third in the SA Freestyle Junior Championships 2009 on his horse Hallmark Lady Luck.
Razdi Warmblood Stud offers the following services and facilities: – Live Coverings by imported and local stallions – Foals and yearlings for sale – Choose to have your foals raised, backed and schooled by Razdi Stud – Beginner and advanced riding lessons – Schooling of horses for dressage – Shows hosted at the Stud Farm – Lease a Razdi based mare and have her covered by one of their famous stallions.
